Special Places of Bogota City
EXPLORING BOGOTA : IDENTITY, HISTORY AND CULTURE IN THREE PLACES. At the beginning, Bogota, the capital city of Colombia hosts important places that they shows their culture, history and wealth academic. We will visit three of these places, that are: “Museo del Oro”, “Teatro al aire libre de la media torta” and “Universidad de los Andes”. That are emblematic p laces that conserves the cultural identity of the city of Bogota with the passing of the years. The “Museo del Oro” preserves the most collection of pre-hispanic goldsmithing. The “Teatro Media Torta”, was inaugurated in 1944, moreover, it´s a free acces scenario of the musical and artistic expresion. The “Universidad de los Andes”, was inaugurated in 1948, this sites reflects the historic identity of the city.
